I just did a drain/refill and replaced the filter on my F150 6R80 transmission. When I measure the fluid with the transmission cold but engine running on a flat surface, it is only about half way up the dipstick (It’s a little hard to see in the picture but it is up to the N). But when I measure with the transmission at operating temperature of 195, it is in range of the B marker. From what I understand, operating temperature is the most important reading but it makes me nervous seeing it so low on the dipstick when cold. Anyone know why this happens and if I’m good to go?
