4.56 Gears and Replacing the Rear LS
Hey all, so I have been talking to my dad alot about my truck and what I should really do next, whether thats a lift, gears, new exhaust, etc..
Well, For the price that I would pay for a lift I can get 4.56 gears and most likely get them installed.. And since I am driving the truck from Iowa to Florida in June/July Possibly pulling a small trailor with me, we both decided that the gears need to be top priority to get the truck back to stock gas mileage and for the tranny wise..
SO, if i were to get 4.56 gears, would I have to replace the Rear LS? or would it work? I have really no idea how LS works, so bear with me! I might get a Selectable locker depending on how much the gears will be..
Figure that the Rancho 500 cash back deal is on until August, so I should be able to save up enough dough to still get my rancho before the end, so Gears just seams like the most logical thing to do right now especially for the long *** drive and with gas prices!
