Hello, I am interest d in buying this 1985 Ford. I have not had a chance to go look at it yet but the owner states there is a bad sound coming from the engine.
Can anyone guess based on the noise?
Water pump?

Geesh! sounds like the fan is chewing a hole in the radiator or something. possibly a exhaust heat shield flapping in the breeze. Does not sound much like a water pump, but who knows. Maybe some bailing wire wrapped around the crank damper pulley. Makes good noise though.
