I've begun to notice a high pitch whine coming from the bottom left front of motor. I'm not much of a motor head but I am mechanical. I think my serpentine is ok, and its not overheating so I've ruled out water pump. not sure of all the components on these newer trucks, could it be then air conditioner compressor? any help appreciated

 

Check your power steering fluid level. If your power steering fluid is low it will cause your power steering pump to whine.
